To find the width of the window, we can use the next proportion:

\frac{1\text{ cm}}{2\text{ cm}}=\frac{12\text{ in}}{x\text{ in}}

Solving for x:

\begin{gathered} 1\cdot\text{ x = 12 }\cdot\text{ 2} \\ x\text{ = 24 in} \end{gathered}

Then, the width is 24 inches.

Similarly, for the height:

\begin{gathered} \frac{1\text{ cm}}{3\text{ cm}}=\frac{12\text{ in}}{x\text{ in}} \\ 1\cdot x\text{ = 12}\cdot3 \\ x\text{ = 36 in} \end{gathered}

Then, the height is 36 inches
