To graph linear inequalities:

When the inequality is < or > you draw a dotted line

When the inequality is ≥ or ≤ you draw a full line

When the inequality is < or ≤ you shadow the area under the line (If it is a vertical line you shadow the left area)

When the inequality is > or ≥ you shadow the area over the line (if it is a vertical line you shadow the right area)

For the given inequalities:


y>2

The line is y=2 and it is a dotted horizontal line in y=2. The shaded area is over the line:


x\ge-3

The line is x=-3 and it is a full vertical line in x=-3. The shaded area is to the right side of the line:


y>-x+3

The line is y=-x+3. It passes trought point (0,3) and (3,0)

It is a dotted line and the shaded area is over that line:
