\sqrt[]{3x+12}=9

Sol:.


\begin{gathered} \sqrt[]{3x+12}=9 \\ \text{Square both side} \\ 3x+12=81 \\ 3x=81-12 \\ 3x=69 \\ x=(69)/(3) \\ x=23 \end{gathered}

It is a not extraneous sol.
