In a electrolyte cell the anode is the positive electrode or negative electrode I keep on forgetting

The anode is usually the negative electrode. It is similar to when we say that an anion is an ion with a negative charge.

Nevertheless, in an electrolytic cell, it's the other way around, it means that this time, the anode will be the positive electrode.
