A regular polygon is shown, with the measure of one of its angles labeled 8x − 48. I need to find the value of X

x = 120
x = 9
x = 28.5
x = 21

The answer should be
x=21.

One of the interior angles of any regular hexagon is
120^o. When we use this, we will get the result. If we equalize
(8x-48)^o to
120^o algebraically,

  • 8x-48=120

  • 8x=168

  • x=21

Therefore, the answer is
21.
