to find x, we can use trigonometric ratios because the triangle is right(an angle of 90°)

I will use tangent

\tan (\alpha)=(O)/(A)

where alpha is the angle, O the opposite side from the angle, and A the adjacet side from the angle different to the hypotenuse

so replacing

\tan (13)=(x)/(500)

now, solve x

x=500\tan (13)

and calculate

x=115.43

the distance is 115.43 meters
