Recall that

i^2=1
i=\sqrt[]{-1}

i is called the imaginary number because it is not solvable.

The complex number is of the form a+ib. where a is a real number and b is a complex number.

Let use take values for a and b as follows.

a_1=6,b_1=3,a_2=10\text{ and }b_2=13.

The complex number are 6+i3 and 10+i13.

Adding two complex numbers

(6+i3)+(10+i13)=6+10+i3+i13

=16+i16

The point is (16,16).

The multiplication of the complex numbers 6+i3 and 10+i13 is

(6+i3)\cdot(10+i13)=6*10-3*13+i(6*13+3*10)_{}

=21+i108

The point is (21,108).

The points on the complex plane is
