-4x-10\le2

Adding 10 to both sides.

\begin{gathered} -4x-10+10\le2+10 \\ -4x\le12 \\ \text{ Dividing both sides by -4, we have} \\ (-4x)/(-4)\ge(12)/(-4) \\ x\ge-3 \end{gathered}

So the solution set is the set

\mleft\lbrace x\in\mathfrak{\Re }\colon x\ge-3\mright\rbrace
