so i forgot how to multiply a fraction by a number like:2/3 • 308 (this is just an example)um could you tell me how to?

This is how I like to solve these -->

(2/3) x (308/1)

then multiply the numerators and denominators separately

(2x308)/(3x1)

(616)/(3)

simplify as needed.

the best way to never forget how to doit is write the fractionlike this


(a)/(b)

and realize that b is a division. then


(a)/(b)\cdot c=(ac)/(b)

in this case,


(2)/(3)\cdot308=(2\cdot308)/(3)=(616)/(3)
