From the problem, we have the equation :

y=(4)/(5)x

The equation is linear if x is a direct function of y in the form :

y=kx

Since the given equation is the same as the form of a direct variation, the equation is linear.

Note that in slope intercept form of a linear equation :

y=mx+b

m stands for the slope and b stands for the y-intercept

So we can say that the slope of the equation is m = 4/5 and the y-intercept is b = 0 since we dont have any constant in the equation.

ANSWER :

A. slope = 4/5 and y intercept is (0, 0)
