A hotel reservation number consists of 3 digits, followed by 2 letters, followed by 2 digits. How many different reservation numbers are possible?

Given:

Consists of 3 digits and followed by 2 letters

So:

For 1 digit total posibilty is 10 so for 3 digit :


=10*10*10

Followed by 2 latter

For 1 latter total posibilty is 26

so for 2 letters.


=26*26

So total different reservation number is:


\begin{gathered} =10*10*10*26*26 \\ =676000 \end{gathered}

So total 676000 different reservation number are possible.
