Given :-

  • A circle with radius 9m .

To Find :-

  • The length of arc AB .

Solution :-

In the given figure arc AB subtends an angle of 124° at the centre . Firstly convert this into radians as ,

\longrightarrow \pi rad. = 180^o

So,

\longrightarrow 124^o = (\pi)/(180^o)* 124^o

\\\longrightarrow 124^o = 2.16 \ rad

Now we may use the formula ,

\longrightarrow length = radius * \theta

Substitute the respective values,

\longrightarrow \widehat{AB}= 9m*2 .16

Multiply ,

\longrightarrow \underline{\underline{\widehat{AB}= 19.48 \ m}}

Hence the required answer is 19.48m .
