Given the function:

R(x)=(x+6)/(x(x+8))

Vertical asymptote:

To find the asymptote we have to find the x-values where the function i not defined.

Therefore, we have to analyze when the denominator is equal to 0:

x(x+8)=0

As you can see, there will be two asymptotes, the first asympotote is in

x=0.

And the second one is:

\begin{gathered} x+8=0 \\ x=-7 \end{gathered}

The second asymptote is in x=-7.

Answer: The vertical asymptote are x=0 and x=-7.

The vertical asymptote are x=0, x=-7.
