Given equation of line is,

y=(1)/(3)x-2

The two lines are parallel if and only if their slopes are equal.

The line in the form y=mx+c has slope m.

So, compare the given equation of line with y=mx+c it gives ,

slope =m= 1/3.

It is observed that option B) y=1/3x+4 has slope m=1/3 which is equal to the slope of given line.

Answer: option B) y=1/3x+4
