This period is quite difficult to elucidate in every aspect, in a geological and biological sense, in the first case is difficult due to the intense volcano activity as well as a multitude of different orogenic cycles, a fact that left the formed rocks in the period very transformed and difficult history to recreate. For this changing period, in a biological sense is also very hard to elucidate how life was in those periods, even more, the fossil record from the time it really scarce making it harder to understand, the last period of the Precambrian, the Ediacaran with the Ediacaran biota suffered a sudden extinction leaving very few traces and many life forms were lost. Therefore taking into consideration this, the correct option is letter D.
