Given the functions:

\begin{gathered} f(x)=|3x+4|+2 \\ g(x)=4 \end{gathered}

if we want to find (f+g)(x), we have to add both functions to get the following:

\begin{gathered} (f+g)(x)=f(x)+g(x)=|3x+4|+2+4=|3x+4|+6 \\ \end{gathered}

therefore, (f+g)(x) = |3x+4| +6
