So we need to solve:

(v)/(5)=-36

Since we have an equality we can multiply both sides of it by the same number without any problem. Then if we multiply both sides by 5 we get:

\begin{gathered} 5\cdot(v)/(5)=-36\cdot5 \\ v=-180 \end{gathered}

Then the answer is v=180.
