Step-by-step explanation:

Letters are from A-Z

Total = 26

Number are from 0-9

Total = 10

two letters followed by 5 numbers = 7 place values

So, in the first place we have a possibility of any of the 26 alphabet

1st place = 26

In the second place, we also have a possibility of any of the 26 alphabet

But because there is no repetition, the numbers will reduce by 1

So, the 2nd place = 25 possibilities of alphabet

2nd place = 25

In the third place, we have a possibility of any of the any of the numericals 0-9 (total is 10)

The 3rd palce = 10

The 4th place has a possibility of any of the any of the numericals 0-9

But because there is no repetition, the numbers will reduce by 1

4th place = 9

The 5th place has a possibility of any of the any of the numericals 0-9

But because there is no repetition, the numbers will reduce by 1

5th place = 8

The sixth place has a possibility of any of the any of the numericals 0-9

But because there is no repetition, the numbers will reduce by 1

The 6th place = 7
