P=83.12ft

1) This is a matter of finding the Perimeter. Note that the semicircle perimeter is given by:

P_(semicicle)=(2\pi r)/(2)=\pi r

2) So for this garden, we can tell the formula that yields the perimeter is:

\begin{gathered} P=2b+h+\pi r,r=(16)/(2)=8 \\ P=2(21)+16+3.14\cdot8 \\ P=83.12ft \end{gathered}

Note that there are two "bases" and one height and a semicircle.
