As per given by the question,

There are given that the function


f(x)=2x^3+x^2-3x-1

Now,

For find the value of f(1),

Put x=1 into the given function

So,


\begin{gathered} f(x)=2x^3+x^2-3x-1 \\ f(1)=2(1)^3+(1)^2-3(1)-1 \\ f(1)=2+1-3-1 \\ f(1)=-1 \end{gathered}

Hence, the value of f(1) is -1.
