In order to find the x-intercept, we need to calculate x for y = 0, and to calculate the y-intercept, we calculate y for x = 0.

So we have that:


\begin{gathered} x+y=-5 \\ \\ x=0\colon \\ y=-5 \\ \\ y=0\colon \\ x=-5 \end{gathered}

So the x-intercept is (-5, 0) and the y-intercept is (0, -5).

Graphing these points and the corresponding line, we have:
