The equation we have to find has the following form:

Ax+By=C

We know that the slope is -1/4. This means that the equation is:

-(1)/(4)x+b=y

We also know that it must pass through the point (-7,0) which means that taking x=-7 should give us y=0:

\begin{gathered} -(1)/(4)(-7)+b=y \\ (7)/(4)+b=y=0 \\ (7)/(4)+b=0 \\ b=-(7)/(4) \end{gathered}

So we have:

-(1)/(4)x-(7)/(4)=y

Which can be rewritten:

\begin{gathered} -(1)/(4)x-(7)/(4)=y \\ -x-7=4y \\ -7=x+4y \end{gathered}

So the correct option is B
