In order to find where f(x) = -3, we need to look at the graph for the values of x where y = -3.

Looking at the graph, when y = -3, x can be any value on this interval:


x=[0,1)

(That is, x can assume any value between 0 and 1, including 0).

Therefore the answer is [0, 1).

e)

The x-intercepts are the points where the graph intersects the x-axis.

Looking at the graph, it only intersects the x-axis at one ordered pair: (-1, 0).
