A midline of a sinusoidal function is the horizontal centerline about which the function oscillates above and below.

The graph of the function is as shown;

The midline exists at y = 2

A point along the midline is the point (1.57,2)

This also corresponds to;


((\pi)/(2),2)

The maximum point nearest to the first point plotted is;


((\pi)/(2),3)
