Is 1/3 a terminating or non-terminating decimal?

A non-terminating decimal is a number with infinite decimals that can not be expressed as a fraction. The irrationals numbers are non-terminating decimals.

As 1/3 is a fraction (is rational), it is a terminating decimal.
