We have the following:

5^(x+1)=5^(2x-3)

solving for x, since they have the same base, we can do the following equation

\begin{gathered} x+1=2x-3 \\ 2x-x=1+3 \\ x=4 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the value of x is 4
