X intercept is when y = 0, so let’s try that first.
-12x + 3(0) = 24
-12x + 0 = 24
-12x = 24
-12x/-12 = 24/-12
x = -2
The x intercept would be (-2,0)

Y intercept is when x = 0, so let’s do that next.
-12(0) + 3y = 24
0 + 3y = 24
3y = 24
3y/3 = 24/3
y = 8
The y intercept would be (0,8)
