A box weighing 51.1 N is pulled horizontally until it slides uniformly over a level floor. If the applied force is 6.30 N, what is the coefficient of friction between the box and the floor?

ΣF = m*a

F = forces

m= mass

a = acceleration

W = weight = mass x gravity = 51.1 N

F = Force = 6.30 N

N = W = 51.1 N

FR = F = 6.30N

FR = u * N

U= coefficient of friction

6.30N = u * 51.1N

6.30N/51.1N = u

u = 0.123
