Data:

Total: $620

Buys:

bicycle: $296.04

reflectors: 3* $5.22

gloves: $13.26

Calculate the amount that he has left

\begin{gathered} 620-296.04-3(5.22)-13.26 \\ =620-296.04-15.66-13.26 \\ =295.04 \end{gathered}

biking outfits: o

As the amount that he left is $295.04 and the cost of each outfit is $46.10 you get the next:

46.10 o needs to be less than or equal to 295.04

Inequality:
46.10o\leq295.04

To solve you divide both sides of the inequality into 46.10

\begin{gathered} (46.10)/(46.10)o\leq(295.04)/(46.10) \\ \\ o\leq6.4 \end{gathered}Then o (number of ountfits) is less than or equal to 6.4. As an outfit cannot be 0.4 you can say that Boubacar can buy 6 or less biking outfits.
