Given:

The lengths of the edges of the triangle are:

(3x-4);(x^2-1);(2x^2-15)

To find the perimeter When x = 4

first, we will substitute with x = 4 into the expressions of the lengths

so, the lengths will be as follows:

\begin{gathered} (3x-4)\rightarrow3\cdot4-4=12-4=8 \\ (x^2-1)\rightarrow4^2-1=16-1=15 \\ (2x^2-15)\rightarrow2\cdot4^2-15=32-15=17 \end{gathered}

The perimeter will be the sum of the lengths

So, the perimeter = 8 + 15 + 17 = 40 feet

So, the answer will be option 2) 40 feet
