Mr. Kim asked his student whether they prefer to go to a museum or the zoo for a field trip. He found that 35% of the students preferred to go to the museum, 45% prefer to go to the zoo, and the rest of the students have no preference. What is the ratio and simplest form of students who have no preference to the students who prefer to go to the museum?

Let

x ----> number os students who have no preference

y ----> students who prefer to go to the museum

we have that

x=100-(35+45)=20%

therefore

x/y=20%/35%

x/y=20/35

simplify

x/y=4/7

the ratio is 4/7
