Given:

The rate of the small hose = 15 gallons per minute

The rate of the large hose is twice the rate of the small hose.

So, the rate of the large hose = 30 gallons per minute

We need to show the relationship between time and the gallons of water pumped by the large hose.​

Let the time = t

And the number of gallons = g(t)

So, the relation between the time and the number of gallons will be:


g(t)=30\cdot t
