I’m working on this question and I was having difficulty may you please help the question states:A student wants to reduce the size of a article he found in a newspaper.The original was 25 centimeters wide.He needs to reduce it so it’s width measures 12 centimeters.One the copier what percent setting should he use to make a copy this size?

Given:

Original size width =25 cm.

The copy size width =12cm.

The percentage of reduced copy is


=\frac{The\text{ copy size}}{The\text{ original size}}*100


=(12)/(25)*100
=\text{ 48 \%}

One the copier 48 % setting should he use to make a copy this size.
