Multiplication

(3)/(4)*(8)/(3)

you multiply the numbers that are in front

\begin{gathered} (3*8)/(4*3) \\ \\ (24)/(12) \end{gathered}

then simplify and the answer is 2

Division

((3)/(4))/((8)/(3))

you multiply the extremes and the solution is the numerator of the result

then multiply the internals and the solution is the denominator of the result

\begin{gathered} (3*3)/(4*8) \\ \\ (9)/(32) \end{gathered}

Other exercise about division

so the solution is

(12)/(2)=6
