Given the inequality

y=12|3(x+1)|−6

we sre to fill the table for the va;ues of x from 6 to -5

When x = 6

y = 1/2|3(6+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(7)|−6

y = 1/2|21|-6

y = 1/2(21)-6

y = 10.5-6 and -10.5-6

y = 4.5 and -16.5

When x = 5

y = 1/2|3(5+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(6)|−6

y = 1/2|18|-6

y = (9)-6

y = 9-6 and -9-6

y = 3 and -15

When x = 4

y = 1/2|3(4+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(5)|−6

y = 1/2|15|-6

y = 1/2(15)-6

y = 7.5-6 and -7.5-6

y = 1.5 and -13.5

When x = 3

y = 1/2|3(3+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(4)|−6

y = 1/2|12|-6

y = (6)-6

y = 6-6 and -6-6

y = 0 and -12

When x = 2

y = 1/2|3(2+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(3)|−6

y = 1/2|9|-6

y = (4.5)-6

y = 4.5-6 and -4.5-6

y = -1.5 and -10.5

When x = 1

y = 1/2|3(1+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(2)|−6

y = 1/2|6|-6

y = 3-6

y = 3-6 and -3-6

y = -3 and -9

When x = 0

y = 1/2|3(0+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(1)|−6

y = 1/2|3|-6

y = 1.5-6

y = 1.5-6 and -1.5-6

y = -4.5 and -7.5

When x = -1

y = 1/2|3(-1+1)|−6

y =1/2(0)−6

y = 0-6

y = -6

When x = -2

y = 1/2|3(-2+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(-1)|−6

y = 1/2|-3|-6

y = -1.5-6 and 1.5-6

y = -7.5 and -4.5

When x = -3

y = 1/2|3(-3+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(-2)|−6

y = 1/2|-6|-6

y = -3-6 and 3-6

y = -9 and -3

When x = -4

y = 1/2|3(-4+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(-3)|−6

y = 1/2|-9|-6

y = -4.5-6 and 4.5-6

y = -10.5 and -1.5

When x = -5

y = 1/2|3(-5+1)|−6

y = 1/2|3(-4)|−6

y = 1/2|-12|-6

y = -1.5-6 and 1.5-6

y = -7.5 and -4.5
