We have the following:

x+(1)/(-2)=-2x+\frac{3}{4\text{ }}

solving for x:

\begin{gathered} x+(1)/(-2)=-2x+(3)/(4) \\ x-(1)/(2)+(1)/(2)=-2x+(3)/(4)+(1)/(2) \\ x=-2x+(5)/(4) \\ x+2x=-2x+(5)/(4)+2x \\ 3x=(5)/(4) \\ 3x\cdot(1)/(3)=(5)/(4)\cdot(1)/(3) \\ x=(5)/(12) \end{gathered}

the answer is x equal 5/12
