We will use the property that sum of all angles of a triangle is 180 degree.


\begin{gathered} x^o+46^o+58^o=180^o \\ x^o=180-104 \\ x^o=76^o \end{gathered}

Similarly


\begin{gathered} y=180-58-78 \\ =180-136 \\ =44 \end{gathered}

The two triangles are not similar because in similar triangles all angles are equal.

And x=76 and y=44
