Since we have that:

(1)/(2)\colon(1)/(3)

to find the ratio for 1 cup, we do the division like this:

(1)/(2)_{}\colon(1)/(3)\Rightarrow((1)/(2))/((1)/(3))=(3)/(2)

This means that the new ratio is 3:2, therefore, for 3 cups of cranberry juice, Ann will need 2 cups of orange juice. Then, we have that for one cup of orange juice, there have to be 1.5 cups of cranberry juice.
