Sang invested some money at 5% interest. Sang also invested $103 more than 3 times that amount at 12%. How much is invested at each rate if Sang receives $1911.48 in interest after one year? (Round to two decimal places if necessary.)

x= 1st investment

y= 2nd investment

.05x+.12y=1911.48

y=3x+103

.05x+.12(3x+103)=1911.48

0.05x+0.36x+12.36=1911.48

0.41x=1911.48-12.36=1899.12

x=1899.12/0.41= 4632

y=3*4632+103=13999

So the answer is: $4632 and $13999
