f(x)=((1)/(3))^x

To write the equation for the function that f(x) is transformed reflect in the x-axis.

we have the principal as,

y=-f(x) is the reflection of the graph y=f(x) in the x axis and y=f(-x) is the reflection of the graph y=f(x) in the y axis.

Here to find the equation reflect in the x axis

y=-f(x)

we get,


y=-f(x)=-((1)/(3))^x

The required equation is,


f(x)=-((1)/(3))^x
