1) 100, 81, 64, 49, ?

2) 1, 3, 9, 27, ?, 243

100-19=81, 81-17=64, 64-15=49, 49-13=36

2) 81
1*3=3, 3*3=9, 9*3=27, 27*3=81, 81*3=243

Explanation:

#1 you first have to figure out how much it is receding by. The first one is 100 - 19. The second is 81 - 17. The third is 64 - 15. So the forth one is 49 - 13=49

#2 is just times each number by three. You can tell becuase the first number is 1. And the next is 3. So 27 x 3= 81. (81 x 3=243)
