How many different combinations can be formed by taking four digits 3, 4, 7, 5, 8, 1?

Solution

We are given 6 numbers, we want to find how many four digits different number that can be formed

Note: All the six numbers are available to occupy the first space of the 4 digit number. There would just be 5 numbers availabe for the second space and 4 numbers for the third and 3 for the last.

Therefore, the number of different combinations is


6*5*4*3=360

The answer is


360
