The slope can be calculated as the quotient between the difference in the y-coordinates of two points, and the difference in the x-coordinates of the same two points.

We pick any 2 known points, like (0,2) and (5,4).

We calculate the slope as:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)=(4-2)/(5-0)=(2)/(5)=0.4

Answer:

The slope is m=2/5=0.4
