we have

(2x^3-3x^2-2x-20) : (x-3)

2x^2+3x+7

-2x^3+6x^2

--------------------------

3x^2-2x-20

-3x^2+9x

-------------------------

7x-20

-7x+21

-------------

1

therefore

the remainder is 1

so

(2x^3-3x^2-2x-20)=(x-3)(2x^2+3x+7)+1

therefore

the answer is

(2x^2+3x+7)+1/(x-3)
