From the exercise we know:

• 55% are women

So what is the percentage of people that are not a woman?

100-55=45

• 45% aren't women

If 1,170 people are not women (45%), how many workers in total does the company have?

\begin{gathered} 1,170\to45 \\ x_{}\to100 \\ x=(100\cdot1,170)/(45) \\ x=2600 \end{gathered}

There are 2600 workers in the company
