To write this equation in slope-intercept form, you have to solve it for y

18x+17y=16

First pass the x term to the right side of the equation

17y=16-18x

Next divide it by 17

\begin{gathered} (17y)/(17)=(16)/(17)-(18x)/(17) \\ y=(16)/(17)-(18)/(17)x \end{gathered}
