Answer: y=2/(x-1)

Explanation:

We can tell this is a rational function that looks somewhat like y=1/x, execpt that the asymptote is at x=1, not x=0. This means we have y=k/(x-1), where k is a constant.

Substituting in the coordinates of a point on the graph, say (0, -2), we get that -2=k/-1, meaning k=2.

So y=2/(x-1).
