V=\pi r^2h

where r is the radius and h is the height

From the question,

diameter = 10

This implies that; r=d/2 = 10/2 = 5

h = 17

susbtitute the values into the formula


V=\pi*5^2*17
=425\pi\text{ cubic feet}

If we substitute the value of pie= 22/7


V=(22)/(7)*425
\approx1335.71\text{ cubic f}eet
