Part 1

we have

2x =1-5y

solve for y

step 1

Adds 5y both sides

2x+5y=1

step 2

subtract 2x both sides

5y=-2x+1

step 3

Divide by 5 on both sides

y=-(2/5)x+1/5

Part 2

we have the expression


((x^(-3))/(y^4))^(-6)=((y^4)/(x^(-3)))^6=(y^4x^3)^6=y^((24))x^((18))
