Solution

Since the diagram given is a Triangle, therefore, the sum of it's interior angles is 180 degrees

However, the Triangle is a right angle Triangle since on of its angles is 90 degrees.

The sum of its Interior angles is given by;

\begin{gathered} z+52+90=180 \\ \\ \Rightarrow z+142=180 \end{gathered}

subtracting 142 from both sides,

\begin{gathered} \Rightarrow z+142-142=180-142=38 \\ \\ \Rightarrow z=38^0 \end{gathered}

Therefore, z = 38
